Gas prices today are getting horribly expensive. I remember back in 1969 gas prices were only thirty-five cents a gallon. In 1970 it did rise a little by one cent coming in at 36 cents. It is more than five time as much today and is expected to rise up to three and a half dollars.(the record high in history)It would be about a 17 percent increase from today, just under three dollars.
